My trip to Silicon Valley & LA: Sept. 6th-15th

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

I just arrived in San Francisco. Till Sept. 15th I will be in Silicon Valley (Sept. 6-13) and LA (Sept. 14&15) to attend the start-up conference TechCrunch50 and to meet many old friends, former colleagues and potential partners.

I use the time to verify my start-up idea. I have a couple of concepts in my mind, but one is on top of the list and I want to make a go/no-go decision in the next couple of weeks.

If you happen to be close to San Francisco/LA during the time drop my a mail to meet. Contact me via Facebook, LinkedIn or Xing.

See you there,
Jens Begemann

Beginning my start-up brainstorming

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Effective July 1st I handed over my team and my responsibilities to my successors at Jamba. I will spend the next couple of weeks handing over my knowledge.

I go on holiday for a little bit more than a week and today I start generating ideas for my start-up.

A lot of people ask me questions regarding my start-up idea. I did not decide on an idea, yet – even though some do not seem to believe that.
If you have a German mobile phone, just text JENS to 48000 and I will inform you as soon the idea is public (price of a standard SMS). [Update: Keyword is not active any more. Subscribe to my RSS to get updates on my start-up idea]
